After teaming up with Lori Robertson, MSN, FNP-C, this dynamic duo is now training the next generation of expert injectors while leaving their incredible legacy of skill behind. Dr. Gideon Kwok has been working in the aesthetic medicine industry for over 18 years.

Dr. Kwok has been using BENEV’s Exosome Regenerative Complex (ERC) and Exosome Regenerative Complex + (ERC+), which are transformative for the skin and scalp. Using THE most cutting-edge biotechnology currently on the market, BENEV Exosomes harness the power of stem cell derived lyophilized exosomes, potent growth factors, and more to generate overall skin revitalization. In spite of their success, we wanted to hear from an expert about these innovative post care skin topicals and how they have transformed his practice for the better.

Read on to find out why Dr. Gideon Kwok loves BENEV Exosomes!

Describe your first experience using the Exosome Regenerative Complex as a post treatment care product.

My first experience with BENEV Exosomes was actually at one of BENEV’s advanced training sessions. During the training, exosomes were mentioned, and that piqued my interest because I had already been dealing with stem cells, PRP, and all that good stuff prior. From there, I jumped on board and started using ERC.

What were your expectations with our Exosome Regenerative Complex and how did we meet (or exceed) them?

Science wise, I know it’s there. I know exosomes are beneficial to the body, so I definitely had an expectation that they would do something. In regards to collagen stimulation, that’s really the biggest thing, I knew BENEV Exosomes would really help with that. Ultimately, they truly exceeded my expectations with the use of ERC on open skin, such as post CO2 or laser treatment — you can really see the anti-inflammatory benefits take effect much quicker. Previously, I would use PRP… but using this would cause patients to become more inflamed, since PRP is really inflammatory. Now that I use BENEV Exosomes, something I can use topically, this has become a complete game-changer.

Which treatments do you most frequently pair our Exosome Regenerative Complex (ERC) with?

Microneedling, RF Microneedling, CO2, regular lasers… For the most part, we topically apply BENEV Exosomes with just about any treatment that potentially opens tiny holes in the skin, allowing us to penetrate just a bit deeper. When I had to do a highlight about PRP, Ethan Min, CEO of Benev, sent me ample research and information on the amount of collagen and elastin that you get by placing exosomes into tissue… And I was sold; the results were absolutely astounding.

Have you tried our ERC+ formula? If so, how has it differed from our regular ERC?

ERC+ is the only one I use.

Have you tried our ERC on yourself? If so, what was your experience like?

I do all microneedling with ERC+ and with that, there is definitely a difference in my skin’s overall quality. Even my patients ask, “What are you doing lately?” when they see my skin. All I do is a quick laser, then light microneedling with ERC+. That’s it. I barely even do skincare! I’m kind of too lazy for that, honestly. All of the skin compliments I get are thanks to ERC+.

Have you seen a significant difference in treatment results and/or recovery time since utilizing our Exosome Regenerative Complex?

For sure. Think of what you are doing when you do CO2 or RF Microneedling — you are essentially traumatizing the skin and creating inflammation. At their core, exosomes are proteins in the body which function to slow down or stop inflammatory responses. So if you are able to control an inflammatory response caused by an external thing like a laser, now your body has the ability to start focusing on enhancing recovery from day one… Rather than spending energy to decrease that inflammation before your body can even begin the recovery process. If you can control the body’s inflammatory response in a beautiful way, then you are going to get minimal downtime and better results.

If you could describe ERC in one word, what would it be?

GODSEND. It really is. You’re using God’s own nature, a substance your body naturally produces, to enhance recovery. With exosomes in your practice, you can increase patients’ collagen and elastin stimulation, quickly decrease inflammation… I’ve used BENEV Exosomes on everything from wounds, laser burns, and there really is no swelling and downtime is dramatically reduced.
