How Bling Empire Star Christine Chiu Preps Her Skin for the Met Gala
Christine Chiu, 40, is a Taiwanese-American businesswoman, philanthropist, and haute couture fashionista. But she is most well known for her role in Netflix’s reality TV show Bling Empire, which follows a group of massively wealthy Asian-Americans living in Los Angeles, California. The Bling Empire cast seem to be the real-life Crazy Rich Asians. While that is a close comparison, what many people don’t know is that Christine and her husband, Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Gabriel Chiu, are highly successful business owners—and no, they don’t just sit around counting their money all day.
Christine received her honors degree in international business from Pepperdine University. From there, she went on to work in PR for beauty-related industries for over a decade. Using her brains and business-savviness, Christine Chiu co-founded Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery with Gabriel Chiu, MD. Other sources have reported that she is also the co-owner and founder of the Regenerative Medicine Aesthetic Institute as well as the SPA at BHPS.
The Chius have an extensive background in medical aesthetics, making them no stranger to the industry. In fact, Christine said in a 2016 interview with The Hollywood Reporter that she marries her love of haute couture with her work as managing partner at BHPS by forecasting plastic surgery trends based on runway trends. So for the 2023 Met Gala, BENEV Company, Inc. was elated to partner with Christine Chiu and get her “red carpet ready” with a Sylfirm X radiofrequency (RF) microneedling treatment and post treatment, topical Exosomes.
